Here is a rundown on a few questions and answers for the month of September :

How to Stay Organized : A G E N D A .

Fall Family Traditions : Oh how I miss this, Tet Trung Thu, also known as the Autumn Festival in Vietnam. The holiday was created to celebrate end of the year rice harvest. Growing up Vietnamese, this holiday consisted of delicious Moon Cake ( Banh Trung Thu), Jasmine Tea, and paper lanterns. Children would enjoy the beautiful paper lanterns and nibble on pieces of moon cake while adults had tea and cake. There is also a myth of a woman on the moon as well, but that is a story for another day.

Fabulous Recipe : Jasmine Green Tea with a squeeze lime, a touch of honey, and sliced kumquat. It’s the perfect recipe to squash any throat irritation.

Funky Tunes : Up All Night EP – Matt DiMona

Favorite Fresh Fruit : Pomegranate of course. Who does not love pomegranates?!

Fun Reads : The Happiness Project by Gretchen Rubin

Fantastic things about Fall: Food (pies, pumpkins, squash, apples, pomergrante), Weather (bye bye 100 degree weather), Trees ( it’s picture perfect), cuddles.

“Autumn, the year’s last, loveliest smile.” —William Cullen Bryant
